Founded more than 50 years ago, the D21stCC is the longest-standing Democratic club in Santa Clara County. Our mission is to support local Democratic candidates and causes and cultivate the next generation of Democratic leaders. To that end, we provide a unique venue for Democrats from all walks of life to come together, listen, learn, and increase our unity.
Annual membership in the D21stCC helps to subsidize the rent on the Santa Clara County Democratic Party Headquarters and supports opportunities for Young Democrats to join the club and attend our events at reduced rates.
To build fellowship among our members and the greater Democratic community, we host monthly luncheons with a wide variety of guest speakers who lend their perspectives to public policy issues and initiatives that impact our region and our nation.
Our annual meeting – usually held in lieu of a July luncheon – is an opportunity for members to share ideas, affirm broader goals for the club, and volunteer for positions on our Executive Board.
